A California elementary school has been billed $250 by Disney for playing 'The Lion King' remake at their school.
The PTA at a Berkeley, California elementary school got a bill from Disney, after they showed the "Lion King" as a fundraiser for the school. A PTA dad purchased the movie and showed it while kids enjoyed pizza during the "parents a night out" fundraiser. But according to Disney's licensing agency Movie Licensing USA, the school didn't get a Public Performance License to show the movie.
Yo Disney… I’m sure you don’t need that $250 ~Randi
