Getting unemployment benefits has become quite a task as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Today I spoke with Steve Gray, Director, Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) for the state of Michigan about how huge this issue has become but, with a walk through of what you need to do if you have lost your job due to the Coronavirus.

For more information go to Michigan.gov/uia. Additionally, the UIA has extended its call center hours and added hundreds of customer service staff as well as new website tools to help resolve technical issues like locked accounts.
