"I’m giving out stimulus checks July 1st if you have cash app since Trump wants to keep playing games," Chad tweeted. Along with his announcement showing his generosity, Chad also tweeted a screenshot of his current Cash App balance, which showed $245,000.
Many fans replied to Ochocinco with their Cash App handles, hoping to be a lucky candidate of Ochocinco's "stimulus checks." Some fans even pitched their business ideas to the former NFL star, hoping to make themselves viable candidates.
Johnson continued to tweet his criticism of Donald Trump's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, arguing that the initial stimulus package that sent $1,200 to Americans back in April wasn't sufficient enough to sustain through a pandemic that has left a slew of citizens unemployed. "How the f--- are people supposed to stretch $1,200 for 3 months?" Johnson asked.
Chad is no stranger to helping out fans by giving out money. He's previously chosen fans on Twitter to help out during a time of need. Check out some of the responses that Chad received below.
