Woodward Dream Cruise Canceled Amid Coronavirus Pandemic
The 2020 Woodward Dream Cruise has been canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Cities that host the cruise voted unanimously to cancel the event.
The event was set for Saturday, Aug. 15, and draws more than one million people each year.
Other major events that have been canceled in Detroit due to coronavirus include the 2020 Fourth of July Fireworks and the North American International Auto Show.
The 2020 Woodward Dream Cruise kicked off back in 1995 and is the world’s biggest one-day automotive event.
