So just what is a dust devil? Here’s the definition: A dust devil is a whirlwind of air into which dust and debris gets caught up, making it visible. The NWS said that dust devils are typically weak and short-lived, but in rare cases have been known to do minor damage.” (Source: ClickOnDetroit.com)
