LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - NOVEMBER 17: Donell Jones attends the 2019 Soul Train Awards at the Orleans Arena on November 17, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Donnell Jones is currently readying new music. The R&B veteran recently announced plans to gift his fans with two new albums soon, as Rated R-n-Breports. Jones’ first album is slated to be released on November 11. An album title hasn’t been shared yet but the singer did reveal other details regarding the forthcoming release.

“I’m excited about making new music for y’all and I promise it will be a masterpiece and the best part is this album will be completely free to download from my website,” Jones wrote on Instagram. “It’s my gift to you for rocking with me for all these years. This will be my 7th studio album”

The R&B crooner also confirmed that he has another album scheduled to be released in 2021. He added, “God Bless y’all and God bless me and I promise to never keep you waiting this long again but I had to work on me and change a few things in my life… I’M BACK!”
Jones’ new album that’s slated to drop in November of 2020 will be the follow up to his 2013 LP, Forever. During a previous interview with Rated R&B, Jones compared Forever to his critically-acclaimed sophomore album, Where I Wanna Be.

“I would say Where I Wanna Be was my most personal album that I put out and Forever is no different than that,” Jones said. “Everything about Where I Wanna Be, I lived every moment of that and that’s why those songs are so personal. [Forever] is just the same. It’s my life, my struggles, growing up…life in general. I really feel like those two albums really do compare as far as me being a songwriter, musician and person.”
