Jennifer Hudson has quite the pipes, and she used that gift to perform a very moving tribute to the late civil rights leader Rep. John Lewis last night.

Hudson’s performance aired during CBS’s “John Lewis: Celebrating a Hero” TV special.

Hudson also shared a photo on social media with Lewis after he passed away.

“‘Servant well done’ I can hear God saying that to you now !” she wrote in the caption. “Rest In Peace congressman civil rights icon, John Lewis! We thank u and will always remember you and celebrate you for your work.”
