Mary J. Blige doesn't want to be called "auntie." The singer and actress recently did an interview promoting her new STARZ  TV show Power Book II, a spin-off the television network's hit show Power, and she was asked, "How do you feel about your fans calling you ‘Auntie Mary’?"

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul would much rather be called someone's "sister." “How about this. It’s like you pulled that right out of my head. I was literally thinking why can’t I just be your sister. There are women that are way older than me calling me auntie, and I’m just like, 'Come on B,'" Blige explained.

"Come on. Can I just be your sister? Your friend in your head?" "The auntie is like, 'Come on.' And not a good 10 years older than me. Please, don’t call me auntie," she concluded.
