LA Clippers coach Doc Rivers was asked about the shooting of Jacob Blake, in Kenosha, Wisconsin after a game on Tuesday and his response was raw and emotional.
Rivers discussed what it feels like as a Black man constantly reminded of his color and the current administration inciting more fear in African American communities, “All you hear is Donald Trump and all of them talking about fear. We’re the ones getting killed. We’re the ones getting shot. We’re the ones that we’re denied to live in certain communities. We’ve been hung. We’ve been shot. And all you do is keep hearing about fear.” (Source: ESPN)
