Could this year finally be the year the Detroit Lions win the Super Bowl?

Well, in a new article, Wall Street Journal sports writer Jason Gay says the Lions are going all the way this year, but not for any reason other than it being, well, 2020.

The article, called “The Year 2020 Is Already Sideways. So Let’s Just Pick the Detroit Lions to Win the Super Bowl,” has Gay stating, “The Lions haven’t ever been to a Super Bowl, but 2020 couldn’t get possibly weirder—a life-altering pandemic, a contentious election, forest fires allegedly caused by gender-reveal parties, work from home, school from home…the Lions winning the Super Bowl feels on brand for what we’ve all seen this year.”

Hey, I’ll take a Super Bowl win for the Lions, even if it is because 2020 is upside-down.
