Consequence Announces He Has Been Diagnosed with Lupus
As reported by HipHopDx.com, Consequence held an album listening party on Zoom earlies this week for his Things Are Different Now EP.
During the chat, the A Tribe Called Quest member announced he has been diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder lupus. He got the news back in June.
At the event, Consequence stated that it’s “God’s will” he’s still around and that his son, Caiden Mills, helped him move forward.
“He’s really my blessing from God,” he said in an interview with HipHopDX. “When it got stupid for me, he was right here like, ‘Yo, come on, you just gotta get your muscles back. Come on daddy, you can do it.’ He’s my little superstar … he definitely re-charged the Tesla for me.”
