Clean Your Mask Everyday… But what if it’s not Laundry Day?

According to new research, “your cloth face mask is only protecting you if you wash it every day.” So what if you can’t do laundry today? (Source: Yahoo.com)

WellAndGood.com writer and microbiologist Jason Tetro, says, you can kill off the microbes lurking on your cloth face masks through washing them by hand or even giving them a nice steam.

Whatever you choose, WellAndGood.com also says avoid spraying your mask with disinfectants so you’re not inhaling whichever cleaning product you used, and avoid your mask in cold water if you can. The (CDC) recommends using the warmest setting you can for your cloth face mask every time you wash it.
