The Detroit Pistons have released their new Nike City Edition "Motor City" uniforms, which players will sport at various home games during the 2020-21 regular season.

The Pistons say the uniform pays tribute to the "automotive heritage of the Motor City" and "classic Detroit pride."

"Through collaboration with the NBA and Nike, the Pistons developed this uniform using design elements that are drawn from iconic symbols of the region – a circular read of 'Motor City Detroit, Michigan’ across the chest reminiscent of vintage auto emblems, bold highway-like striping with a carbon fiber texture, gears surrounding the Pistons logo and an M1 icon representing Woodward Avenue," The Pistons said in a release.
