NFL Draft: Lions Pick Washington’s Levi Onwuzurike, Alim McNeill
The second and third rounds of the NFL draft are in full swing, and tonight (April 30), the Detroit Lions picked defensive tackle Levi Onwuzurike of Washington and defensive tackle Alim McNeill of N.C. State to join the team.
Onwuzurike has 95 tackles and seven sacks over his three seasons with Washington. He opted out of the 2020 season.
Onwuzurike was picked at No. 41.
McNeill is a powerhouse nose tackle at 6-feet tall and 317 pounds.
McNeill was picked at 72.
Last night, the Lions snagged Oregon offensive tackle Penei Sewell with the No. 7 overall pick.
