"The Jim Henson Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited" is coming to the Henry Ford Museum this summer.

The traveling exhibition kicks off June 5 and runs through Sept. 6. It's a version of the Museum of Moving Image’s ongoing exhibition, which is permanently in New York City.

Expect the exhibition to look at Henson’s work for film and TV, as well as his longstanding impact on popular culture. It will also highlight how Henson picked and built his team, including puppet builders, performers and writers.

The Exhibition will feature puppets, character sketches, scripts, photographs, film and television clips, storyboards, behind-the-scenes clips and costumes. It will also offer interactive experiences that enable visitors to try puppeteering on camera and even make their own puppet character.

"The Jim Henson Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited" is free with membership or admission to Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation.
