Former Pistons and Virginia Union University favorite Ben Wallace has been picked to enter the Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2021, reports ESPN's Marc Spears.
Wallace, or "Big Ben," was a four-time defensive player of the year, as well as a four-time All-Star. He officially retired from the Pistons in 2016, and the team retired his No. 3 jersey.
Wallace and the full 2021 class will be announced on Sunday (May 16) at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, according to Spears.
Wallace is now a co-owner and president of basketball operations of the Grand Rapids Drive.
Congratulations, Wallace!
