Buckle up for a sizzling week, as temperatures are expected to climb all week and get into the 90s by the time the weekend rolls around.
According to the National Weather Service, the start of the week will stay in the mid- to high 70s.
By Thursday, temperatures will start to get into the 80s, and by Friday, they'll likely hit 90.
The rising hot temperatures are appropriate, as today (June 1) marks the start of the meteorological summer. According to the National Weather Service, this summer should have slightly above-average temperatures and rain totals.
Hot temperatures mean it's a great time to sit by the pool and grill. For some cookout sauces to spice up summer, go here.
