Harrison Township Firefighters Save the Life of a Baby Raccoon
Firefighters in Michigan worked to save the life of a baby raccoon, who was rescued after getting its head stuck in a sewer cover.
The Harrison Township Firefighters Local 1737 posted the news on Facebook, assuring everyone that the baby raccoon is okay.
“A good job is in order for platoon 1 today after rescuing this baby raccoon,” the Facebook post states. “Crews used multiple tools to free the animal from the sewer cover.”
Thankfully, once free, “Macomb County Animal Control checked the animal for injuries and none were found,” the post states.
Big thanks to the firefighters for saving this little buddy!
