Jekalyn Carr Honored at Women’s Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards
Jekalyn Carr was recently honored in Washington D.C. at the prestigious Women’s Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards.
Carr was honored at an event at the National Museum of Women In Arts hosted by Jody Watley.
The award honors her major contributions to gospel music and her “ability to inspire and encourage people through her songs.”
Carr has a plethora of hits to her name, including her latest, “Changing Your Story.” She’s also a four-time Grammy nominee and multiple Stellar Award and Dove Award winner.
She’ll also co-host the 36th Annual Stellar Awards with Tye Tribbett on July 10 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Anne Erickson started her radio career shortly after graduating from Michigan State University and has worked on-air in Detroit, Flint, Toledo, Lansing and beyond.
