The Randi Myles Show

Weekdays 10am-3pm

Wess Morgan found himself back in the studio after a year when the music and live entertainment industry came to a halt and a time where people have been less than loving toward each other.

Morgan is working on a new project slated for release in late 2021 but wanted to give us a sneak peek with the release of “Why Can’t We Love?,” his first single in four years. The single is a family affair with Wess’ uncle, award-winning Nashville songwriter, Chaz Bosarge as the composer and featuring his father, Joseph Morgan, his daughter, singer/songwriter Lizzie Morgan, and his six-year-old-son, Joel Morgan, closing out the song.

Listen below as we talk about how he got through the worst of the pandemic with the entire family in his home, recording in the midst of a pandemic and how the song came to align with the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
