Michigan is getting plenty of representation at the Tokyo games, and sometimes, that's even from athletes no longer living in the Mitten.
Former University of Michigan Wolverine Siobhán Haughey scored Hong Kong’s very first Olympic medal in swimming at Tokyo Aquatics Centre on Wednesday (July 28).
Haughey won the silver medal in the 200-meter freestyle. Her time was 1:53.92. Australia's Ariarne Titmus took home the gold, while Canada's Penny Oleksiak scored bronze.
During her time at the University of Michigan, Haughey was a 14-time NCAA All-American. Congratulations to this former Wolverine!
