The movie RESPECT hits theaters on Aug. 13, and the excitement is building.
To celebrate the film's debut, the Detroit Historical Museum will show off items from the movie, which surrounds the life of Aretha Franklin. The Motor City Music gallery will feature clothing items sported by the film's star, Jennifer Hudson, who plays Franklin in the movie.
In addition to the clothing, photos from the movie and items from the Detroit Historical Society's collection will be on display.
The exhibition runs through Sunday, Aug. 29.
