Sunday (Aug. 29) was a big day for the Taylor North Little League team, as they beat the West Side Little League team from Hamilton, Ohio, to score the Little League World Series title.
It wasn’t close, either. The final tally was 5-2.
It’s been a long time since a Michigan team has won the Little League World Series championship. The last team to do so was Hamtramck in 1959.
