You can never have too many great chicken restaurants, right? It's no secret that Michiganders love their chicken, and now, a popular chicken chain is opening not one by several locations in Michigan. I actually don't eat chicken, so you'll have to enjoy the new grub for me. A bunch of my friends are already thrilled about this chicken chain coming to Michigan, so maybe you'll be happy about it, too. Serve it up!

Korean fried chicken chain Bonchon is kicking off the new year by opening five new stores in Michigan, starting in the Detroit area. They're expanding into Ohio, too. The first metro Detroit store, Bonchon Farmington Hills, opened earlier this month. The location is at 27915 Orchard Lake Rd., in the Orchard 12 Shopping Plaza. Bonchon will open a second location in Troy later this year. Later this year and going forward, they'll work on opening even more locations throughout the greater Metro Detroit area and Michigan.

Bonchon started in 2002 in South Korea. It was so popular in its homeland that it came to the U.S. in 2006 and also started expanding to other countries. The chain has more than 370 locations worldwide, and it's growing every year.
