The Randi Myles Show

Weekdays 10am-3pm

(Source: WXYZ-Detroit) The Lewis College of Business on Meyers in Detroit closed in 2013 due to financial difficulties and losing its accreditation. But this spring, the school will once again make history by being the first closed HBCU to ever reopen! (Source: The Plug)

The school was founded by Violet T. Lewis in 1920. Lewis originally designed the college for Black women seeking secretarial skills. The new school will re-open as the Pensole Lewis College of Business and Design and will be industrial design focused.

This May, the school will start inside the College of Creative Studies while the new facility is being finished in Detroit.
