Detroit Public Schools Community District Dismissing Early Tuesday Because of Heat

Students in the Detroit Public Schools Community District will be let out of class early on Tuesday (May 31) because of the heat.
According to the district, all schools will dismiss three hours early, based on the individual building dismissal times. All indoor after school activities will also be canceled. As for outdoor activities, the district says, “Please contact your school regarding the athletic schedule.”
Regular transportation will be available, per usual.
