Large Fire Breaks Out at Troy’s Somerset Collection
On Monday (June 13), a large fire broke out at Somerset Collection in Troy. According to Troy officials, the fire started in the kitchen at The Capital Grill. The fire has since been put out.
According to officials, fire and smoke went through the ventilation system to the roof. As of Monday night, firefighters were still working to try to get the smoke out of the mall. No word yet on the extent of the smoke damage.
Officially are investigating the cause of the fire.
