A 90-year-old Michigan man is about to truly enjoy his golden years, as he scored $250,000 playing KENO! in June.
The man told Michigan Lottery he feels like he’s “on top of the world."

The Macomb County man purchased the ticket at the CVS Pharmacy on Schoenherr Road in Sterling Heights. He matched 10 of the 22 numbers that were drawn on June 18. His winning numbers were: 01-13-26-32-38-40-55-64-67-79.

The man described the lottery win as a total surprise. "I gave the cashier my ticket to check and asked him if I’d won big. After he looked it over for a minute, he said: ‘I think you did it!’ I took the ticket to the nearest Lottery office and asked them to check it to be sure. When they confirmed my prize, I was exhilarated!”

So, does he plan on blowing the money in the next few years? Nope. Instead, the man told the Michigan Lottery that he plans to save his big winnings.

As someone who absolutely loves rock, metal and alt music, she instantly fell in love with radio and hasn’t looked back. When she’s not working, Anne makes her own music with her band, Upon Wings, and she also loves cheering on her favorite Detroit and Michigan sports teams, especially Lions and MSU football.
