Dr. Bobby Jones Honored at the National Museum of African American Music

Dr. Bobby Jones and his amazing career is on display at the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville, Tennessee.  The “Living Legends: Dr. Bobby Jones” exhibit celebrates the work, achievements, and legacy of Dr. Bobby Jones. The exhibit is open to the public through Saturday, April 15th in the lobby gallery. (Source: NMAAM.org)

Side Note: I had the honor to host the gospel music portion to celebrate the life of Aretha Franklin after she passed away. I sat there going over our script with him and in my head, I was screaming, “I’m Working with Dr. Bobby Jones!”

Tribute to Aretha Franklin Detroit, MI (August 2018)

Randi Myles is the mid-day host on Detroit’s Praise Network. Randi’s mom knew she was destined to be in some form of entertainment when even as a small child, she would pretend a pencil was a microphone and sing and charm family and friends. Later she would sing in church and college choirs. However, it wasn’t until she attended Specs Howard School of Media Arts, that Ms. Myles would find her true voice. Randi enjoys writing about the city of Detroit, faith, and the community.
