Detroit Is Getting A Sweet Village Called Choco Town
Detroit Is Getting A Sweet Village Called Choco Town
Want to experience the closest thing to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory? Then come on down to Choco Town at the Oakland Mall! An immersive candy experience running from March 16th to April 23rd.
This is a very interactive “show” where actors take you through the event. Almost like a house of horrors, but replace the horrors with delicious chocolate and candy.
The tour is an hour-long trip from various stations. Some of the stations. From multiple videos and reviews, stations like the “Chocolate Mechanic”, “The Bon Bon Boulevard”, and “Gummy Bear Hug Therapy”, to name a few.
Many of the areas are perfect for photo ops and are visually appealing. You’re handed a map as you explore and an evaluation to determine what kind of chocolate person you are.

I’m a big fan of chocolate, and my son loves candy (and my wife does too), so we might go check this out. $75 is quite a bit (for three, but they have group rates too), but it might be a fun thing to do for a weekend.
