Food at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport
When looking for food at the Detroit Metro Airport, dining is split between two terminals. The McNamara Terminal and Warren Cleage Evans Terminal. Specifically noted by the publication are two Michigan-based restaurants. “Those looking for something quick can’t leave without a snack from Leo’s Coney Island (McNamara Terminal) or National Coney Island (Warren Cleage Evans Terminal),” said Food and Wine Magazine.
They suggested that travelers who have more time stop at a local favorite Atwater Brewery or Embers Fire & Ice Lounge. These are both in the Warren Cleage Evans Terminal. The Atwater Brewery, located near Gate D30, is the great spot to grab a beer before your flight. This microbrewery has a bar and restaurant, so you can order a bite to eat with your beer. Embers Fire & Ice Lounge is a lounge-style bar with an extensive list of wines from Michigan vineyards. They also have food available and a collection of local craft beers.
