Until June 18, you can purchase the passports at a discounted price of $50, and they come with a T-shirt. These passports offer over $200 worth of savings.
Participating breweries include Atwater Brewery, Baffin Brewing Co., Unexpected Craft Brewing Co., Eastern Market Brewing Co., 734 Brewing Co., and many more. Check out their website for more info and to see which other breweries are in on the action.
Throughout the year, they offer a variety of events for people to participate in, such as their Survivor Scramble in September and Unchained Gala in December. These events provide ample opportunities for people to get involved and support their cause.
Earlier this year, the non-profit organization played a significant role in one of the Detroit police force's most extensive operations against dog fighting. Bark Nation collaborated with local, state, and federal law enforcement to rescue over 133 dogs from various locations in the Detroit area. The organization deployed 66 responders to aid officials in executing search warrants at these properties. This operation is considered the most extensive effort to date in Michigan to combat dogfighting, as reported by multiple sources.
Dive In: Michigan State Park Dog-Friendly Beaches Await
In Michigan, you can bring your furry friends along when you visit certain state parks and campgrounds, state forest campgrounds, state-managed harbors, state-designated trails, and boat launches. Just keep in mind that there might be some restrictions and some of the rules change according to the season.
There are some situations where you won't be able to bring your pets. These include designated swim beaches where pets are not allowed, areas that are protected for endangered species, and any areas that are specifically marked as off-limits for pets.
Another important thing to note is that even when your pets are enjoying a dip in the water, they still need to be leashed. Michigan requires a 6-foot leash for pets, even when they are in the water. This rule helps ensure everyone's safety and prevents any potential mishaps.
