Have you ever forgotten where you put your keys. Or have you evere blanked on a friend's birthday? It happens to the best of us. We all experience forgetfulness from time to time, and you're not alone in this forgetful club.

Ranker asked around 600 people about the things they always forget. Some of the answers they got were bizarre but apparently common.

What landed at the very top of the annoying forgetfulness list?

According to the site, that moment when you strut into a room and go, "Wait, why did I even come in here?" tops the list. Right on its heels are the ever-frustrating instances of forgetting people's names and phone numbers. Although passwords didn't secure a high position on the list, that made the cut also. With all the passwords we have to remember these days, it might deserve the top spot. Now, let's not forget (pun intended) those near misses in the Top 10: losing track of people's addresses, not remembering where you parked your car, and the quest for your glasses and wallet. And the one that’s all too relatable is forgetting to put on deodorant.

Don’t beat yourself up when your memory decides to take a vacation. It's just a part of being human. Our lives are filled with so much information and distractions that our brains sometimes get overwhelmed and press the "reset" button on certain details. The next time you find yourself frantically searching for your glasses or forgetting why you walked into a room, remember that forgetfulness is a shared experience. Don't forget that! Embrace the forgetful moments, laugh about them, and know that you're in great company.

Curious to know what else made it onto the list of the most annoying things we tend to forget? Take a look at the full list here.
