The U.S. is like a treasure chest of culture and history, filled with countless museums, galleries, and must-see spots just waiting to be explored. AirportParkingReservations.com has compiled a list of the best museums in the U.S. to help you make the most of your travels.

They used AI to gather a list of the top 15 museums in every state. Following this, a keyword tool was utilized to identify the museums that garnered the highest search volumes in each respective state. Additionally, data was collected from Google reviews and Linkfluence to craft their list. It’s worth noting that the parking reservation website included art institutions, galleries, and National Historic Landmarks in considering museums when creating their list.

Detroit Ranks in the Top 8.

The Detroit Institute of Arts secured the seventh spot on their list. They said it's due to its 108,828 Google reviews and a monthly search volume of 33,100. Established in 1885, this institution has over 100 galleries, an art reference library, and a 1,150-seat auditorium. Additionally, the ranking highlights other notable museums to explore in Michigan based on search volume, including the Motown Museum in Detroit with around 18,100 monthly searches, and Greenfield Village in Dearborn, which receives 40,500 monthly searches.

At the top of their ranking stands Graceland, located in Memphis, Tennessee. According to the study, Graceland has more than 1.2 million Google reviews and receives over 40,000 monthly searches. Housed within Elvis Presley's former mansion, this attraction offers visitors the opportunity to partake in garden tours, explore the aircraft he used for travel to his shows, and discover numerous personal mementos along the way.

Following Graceland in their rankings is the Metropolitan Museum of Art, also known as the 'Met,' located in New York City. The ranking attributes its high placement to the Met Gala, an exclusive annual event hosted by the museum. Rounding out their top three is the Art Institute of Chicago, recognized for its extensive art collection that spans centuries and continents.
