What’s the Possibility of a Lions Playoff Game Against Matthew Stafford?
I don’t think I could emotionally handle a playoff situation where Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions would go up against Matthew Stafford and the L.A. Rams. But, it could happen. In fact, it’s seeming more and more likely. I’m not a fan of this scenario, but you can’t deny the mathematics. So, what’s the possibility of a Lions playoff game against Matthew Stafford and the Rams?
First of all, let me just say how incredibly excited I am about the Lions’ latest win against the Denver Broncos. That win was sweet as pie, and I love pie. On a side note, it was such a perfect day for me, because I went to my family’s Christmas celebration during the day, then heard the Spartans beat Baylor in Detroit and then watch the Lions take out the Broncos in a total blowout. Now, the playoffs are in sight. If the Eagles beat the Seahawks on Monday Night Football (Dec. 18), we’re in. That said, the Eagles might be without Jalen Hurts, and they actually will have Matt Patricia handling the defense calls. Yikes. So, the Seahawks could have this one in the bag. Besides, I kind of want the Seahawks to win, because that pushes the Eagles down a bit further in NFC standings, so, in theory, the Lions could move up right behind the 49ers. That seems like a real possibility, especially after last weekend’s Cowboys loss.
