The state of Michigan recently held a contest where people could design their own "I Voted" stickers and now one of them is going viral. It's going to bring people out to vote!

When they held a contest allowing fans to submit their own art and ideas, the state of Michigan had to have known this was coming. I'm sure there were several great entries detailing The Great Lakes, Detroit's comeback, or the state's storied history. However, those weren't the ones that went viral. That honor belongs to...a werewolf ripping off his shirt?

Michigan Middle School Student's 'I Voted' Sticker Goes Viral

This is incredible. Sure, it doesn't really have anything to do with an election or voting...or America, really. Although there is an American flag in the background? I would proudly rock one of these stickers. It seems like I'm not alone because the art is now going viral online.

According to Buzzfeed, the one-of-a-kind "I Voted" sticker was made by Jane Hynous from Brownell Middle School in Grosse Pointe. It's instantly clear why it's going viral--it's awesome. The ripped werewolf is ripping its shirt off in front of the American flag showing off its ripped muscles. It's letting out a howl which almost let's you hear and loud and proud, "I VOTED!" If candidate's policies don't get people off the couch to vote--this might do the trick. Sadly, that's probably not even a joke. Somebody is going to go and vote just to get their hands on one of these--hey, whatever it takes.

It turns out, they will actually be able to get this one! According to Buzzfeed, it was one of 9 winning designs that will be available for clerks to order and give out to voters this fall. It was even included in Michigan's Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's Tweet (or, X post, whatever they're calling it now).

How amazing is that? The other ones are great, as well. There appears to be a cute one designed by a child with backwards vowels, a person saluting the American flag, a dog with sunglasses, a purple alien looking person thing, a tie dye lighthouse, a cat with a hat, an "ope" reference (very Midwest), and a fish which I imagine is the rainbow trout--Michigan's state fish? While all are great in their own way, one definitely stands out above the rest. You can see the 8 other winners that you might be able to wear after voting below. Which one is your favorite? It has to be the werewolf, right?

These drawings are great! If you want to see some drawings that aren't as impressive or award winning, you can see me attempt to draw every NFL logo from memory by clicking here or watch the video below!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
