Michigan Has a New Homemade Pizza Spot

Michigan pizza is simply the best, and the state has a new homemade pizza spot. Michigan seriously has a great reputation for its pizza, and that even goes beyond Detroit pizza to local pizza shops all over the state. When local restaurants close, it's sad, but when local restaurants open, it's a good thing. Now, Michigan is getting a new homemade pizza spot, and this place offers "scratch-made" sauces and more deliciousness. While Michigan already has a lot of pizza, it's great to see another, local pizza spot pop up.

Town Pizza & Grill is now open, offering "22 different pizzas to choose from, seven pizza doughs and a build-your-own option with an endless combination of choices." The spot is located at 1040 South Pennsylvania Avenue in Lansing. Town Pizza & Grill opened in late September, and one of its specialties is already being called the "Stone Fired Gourmet Pizzas." It's not just pizza, either, as they also have ice cream, which is really unique and amazing for a pizza place. I love ice cream and think it's amazing to have a place that serves both pizza and ice cream. More places should do that.

"Our pizzas are crafted from premium ingredients, scratch-made San Marzano Sauce, our cheese is shredded fresh daily and our dough is made fresh daily," Town Pizza & Grill state. "We use only, white and whole-grain flours, the freshest meats, poultry and locally grown produce available, topped with the finest Wisconsin and Italian cheeses." They add that, "Cooking with our fresh and high quality ingredients brings out the best flavors, textures and nutrients in each item on our menu."

Town Pizza & Grill also offer special "grill items" with fresh chicken, "never frozen, seasoned and hand-breaded with our signature breading."

"Our burger is always fresh, never frozen, a signature blend of ground chuck, sirloin, and brisket," they state. "Our signature Italian sausage is always house-made and our deli meats are sliced fresh for each order. We offer Halal beef pepperoni, ground beef, steak and chicken, plus plant based beef, sausage and chorizo as well. Our customer favorite dipping sauces are fresh made with our own special recipes and produce is always fresh and locally sourced."
