Bishop T.D. Jakes Experiences Health Incident During Church Service
Renowned pastor and motivational speaker Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a health incident while preaching a lengthy sermon at the Potter’s House in Dallas on Sunday. The service was being live streamed, so video of the incident quickly spread on social media. (CNN)
Jakes was speaking about the joys of preaching when he began to slur his words and then stopped speaking. Bishop Jakes’ team and family have since provided an update confirming that he is stable, under medical care and expressing gratitude for the community’s support and prayers. Additionally, his daughter Sarah Jakes Roberts and her husband Touré Roberts shared a video expressing that Bishop is doing well and thanking everyone for their prayers saying, “They are working.”

About Randi Myles:
I am a child of God that has a lot to say.
Here you will find conversations with artists, authors, speakers, and teachers within the faith-based community. Also, my journey has been colorful, rich, and sometimes really hard so, I look for answers and respite through these posts. My mom wanted me to write a book and I’m working on that, so bear with me as I fumble my way through.
I am working on balancing my extremely fun work life with my personal life that is filled with challenges these days. I know that God will see me to victory so… welcome to my life.
