Auto giants will return to Detroit's Huntington Place next January. The 12-day event starts January 14, with Ford, GM, Stellantis and Toyota leading the pack.

"These four automakers don't just make cars — they move markets," said Sam Klemet, Executive Director of the Detroit Auto Show according to MLive. "Having Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Toyota at the forefront of the 2026 show underscores just how important Detroit remains to the global auto industry."

Show officials will unveil additional participants as 2025 unfolds. Chairman Todd Szott praised the manufacturers' commitment, noting their deep ties to Detroit's industrial roots.

A revamped "Racing Day" joins forces with the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix in 2026. Visitors can watch cars zip around a test track and chat with IndyCar stars during public days.

The show's luxury segment, The Gallery, returns with its dazzling display. Last year's event showcased 50 premium vehicles that turned heads.

With attendance soaring into six figures, the 2025 show pumped $370 million into local businesses.

Media and industry insiders get first access on January 14-15, featuring tech talks at the Mobility Global Forum and AutoMobili-D. A glittering Charity Preview on January 16 precedes nine days of public access starting January 17.

The downtown venue puts visitors steps away from city attractions. More details about exhibits and activities will be released as the date nears.
