PicsArt_1405123483161The 2016 Summer Olympic Games may be a few years away, but people are already getting excited including myself and to quench my thirst for the Summer Olympics, I recently jumped at the opportunity to interview one of my heroes, gold medalist swimmer Natalie Coughlin.

At 31 years old, Coughlin is one of the most decorated female athletes in the world seeing that she has won a medal in every single Olympic event that she has ever entered, for a total of 12 Olympic medals.

Plus, aside from her incredible accomplishments as a world-class athlete, Coughlin is just an overall incredible person, she is avid food lover who loves to cook. She also likes to work in her urban garden, and she obviously likes to work out and swim.

Well earlier this week, I got a chance to speak with her and during our interview, we talked about her training for the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympics that will take place in Rio, her hobbies outside of the pool, her incredible legacy and so much more.
