DETROIT-As you know every Wednesday on The Mildred Gaddis Show a Detroit entrepreneur is showcased to bring awareness to their business and for listeners to see a another side the individuals creating and investing in the city. This week Mildred Gaddis spoke with Tommey Walker, creator of Detroit vs Everybody.
If say you have not heard of this DVE Brand that has been sweeping the nation for a little over three years, you are indeed the nation’s best liar. Even if you have not set eyes on the merchandise you have certainly heard the phrase. Detroit vs Everybody has been worn by athletes, rappers, artists, actors, comedians, and politicians. The T-shirts and hoodies have been featured on national television shows such as American Idol and most recently The Colbert Report during Detroit’s bankruptcy.
During Walker’s interview with Gaddis, he informed her of the July 4, 2015 Grand Opening of his second location on the historical block in Eastern Market along with an additional line for kids. How awesome is that! Now DVEKids can “politely flip the bird to the rest of the world.”
