Detroit- Today the Mildred Gaddis Show goes on the road to help bridge the gap with homeless needs in the community of Detroit. In the city of Detroit there are 20,000 homeless people and only enough shelter beds for about 1,900. So that means a lot of people are the streets and majority of that population are families with young children. We see them living under the overpass of the freeways, on the steps of churches as we ride down Jefferson and in our communities as we drive to our warm homes every night.

Join Mildred to today at the McDonald’s at 75 and Mack ( 1000 Mack Avenue Detroit, Mi 48207) from 4p to 7p to make a donation that will purchase a sleeping bag to be distributed by Mildred Gaddis and the Radio One team. During the broadcast you will hear interviews from UAW Region 1A director Rory Gamble, Judge Greg Mathis, Sonya Smith of StoneCrest and many more.
