On Friday March 23rd, 2018 Sherry Henderson will give Detroiters a chance to experience the feel of Harlem in Detroit up close and personal!  An adventure and production like no other where it takes onlookers and audience members back in time to a Harlem nights setting. From the time the patrons enter into the building until the end of the show, they will be able to feel like they are in the middle of one of the the most prolific times in history. 
The Harlem Renaissance is looked upon as being an era which utilized culture, music, dance, and fashion to integrate the black and white culture.  Through the creative and intelligent mind of Sherry Henderson, her theatrical production, One Harlem Night does just that!  With a diverse and all star cast consisting of jazz great Alexander Zonjic, Detroit’s own Kimmie Horne, actors Brian White (Chicago Fire, Stomp the Yard), Darrin Henson (Stomp the Yard, Soul Food), Carl Payne (Martin), Marcus Paulk (Moesha), Felicia ‘Snoop’ Pearson (The Wire), and Willie Taylor (Day 26). 
With a plot guaranteed to blow the audiences mind, it is an all around interactive jazz thriller that will entertain on goers in every way possible.  One Harlem Night is a one of a kind production which celebrates unity, brings awareness, creates suspense, displays class, and allows everyone to see, hear, and feel all that jazz! Sherry Henderson Entertainment (also known as S.H.E.) is a Metropolitan Detroit-based producer of theatrical and creative entertainment such as Plays, festivals, comedy and improvisational shows, dinner theatre, murder mystery rides, costume concerts, a masquerade ball, theme parties and more. S.H.E. was birthed more than 10 years ago with a Gospel Musical stage play called “Glorious” where there was a total of 70 actors that performed.  Sherry Henderson is a creative and gifted drama/comedy writer that produces contemporary thriller plots with surprise endings. Some of her known productions are Glorious, Shake That Devil Off, Calling The Kettle Black and One Harlem Night which have hosted nationally known directors and artists.
