November 6, 2018 was the day to let our voices be heard. The midterm elections play a major part in who represents our state at the upper level. If you missed the final results for Michigan we got you covered on the basics:

Governor: Gretchen Whitmer

U.S. Senator: Debbie Stabenow

Secretary of State: Jocelyn Benson

Attorney General: Dana Nessel

Proposals 1: Yes

This means the recreational use and possession of Marijuana is legal for any Michigan resident over the age of 21.

Proposal 2: Yes

This means the job to draw district lines will now be in the hands of Michigan Voters instead of lawmakers.

Proposal 3: YesThis means several new voting policies will be added to the Michigan Constitution. Some of those policies include no excuse absentee ballot voting, the option for straight-party-ticket voting, and new register-to-vote deadlines.
