Last week a video of teenagers, wearing MAGA hats, taunting a Native American man at the Indigenous Peoples March in Washington made headlines. The video caused many to be outraged and feeling like the students should be punished.

The teenagers from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky were recorded mocking Nathan Phillips as he performed a native song. One student in particular, Nick Sandmann, stood in front of Philips smirking while the others surrounded.

Nathan appeared on CNN and had this to say:

Nick appeared on the Today Show to sit down with Savannah Guthrie to discuss what happened. He claims that he was the victim that day. He says that a group of Black Israelites yelled racist and homophobic things towards the students prior to his encounter with Nathan Phillips. Watch the interview below:
