The loud chimes of the bell ringing telling teens their seat belt is not fastened is sometimes not enough to get them to put on the seat belt. Well Chevy has a new feature that will make teens buckle up!

Chevy’s new safety feature will not allow teens to start car until seat belt is fastened. Chevy calls it “Buckle to Drive.” This new feature will prohibit drivers from shifting out of park until their seat belt is fastened.

This will be standard in 2020 Chevrolet Traverse, Malibu and Colorado.
