This is how The Chapel School in Bronxville, New York teaches their children about slavery. When will we ever learn? ~Randi

According to News One, the private school is under fire after a teacher held a mock slave auction to teach students about slavery. Yes, you read that correctly.

Reports show that in March, a parent complained about a white teacher who allegedly had white students bid on and buy Black students that were forced to pretend to be slaves. The black students were asked to leave the classroom and had imaginary chains or shackles on. They then were instructed to re-enter the classroom for the “auction.”

This apparently happened in two fifth grade classrooms.
