Mr. White was introduced to America on the world’s largest stage in front of the world’s largest audience, Host Terry Crews gave the Detroit Youth Choir a gift that would change their lives forever. During their first audition on America’s Got Talent, the Detroit Youth Choir received the Golden Buzzer from Flint native Actor Terry Crews as he was moved to tears by their musical performance of Macklemore’s “This Is Our Moment.” After the performance the Detroit Youth Choir continued to wow the judges every time they hit the stage making it all the way to the Finals of AGT. Coming in 2nd to winner Kodi Lee, DYC made their mark in AGT show history and our continuing to make an impact with every opportunity they are given.. Director Anthony White is coming on the show to talk about life after AGT; sharing experiences from behind the scenes of the show as well as what are some opportunities that are yet coming there way. The City of Detroit has truly embraced DYC, from local businesses coming together to give this non-profit organization an endowment of $1 Million Dollars to Ford Motor Company giving them their own van and each student a $1,000 scholarship to college. This is definitely an interview you don’t want to miss.
