Believe it or not, Back to School is upon us, and there are so many different ways to get the kids prepared!

Check out the Back to School events going on in your community that can help kids be ready to go at that first bell.

• Ticket to Dream Foundation Back to School Event @ Famous Footwear in Birch Run Premium Outlets-8/20/22

  Famous Footwear has once again partnered with the Ticket to Dream Foundation for back to school season to ensure that foster kids have everyday essentials, school supplies, shoes and, most importantly, childhood fun. The team is pairing with Ennis Center for Children, a local foster agency in Flint, Michigan, to help 50-65 foster youth ages kindergarten-high school go back to school prepared!

  Foster Youth Receive:

  -New Shoes: VIP (foster) Youth may select any pair of in-stock shoes for themselves. If the store does not have their size in-stock, Famous associates will order their shoes online using coupon code and TTD credit card.

  -New Socks: VIP youth may select any pack of in-stock socks for themselves.

  -Back to School: VIP youth will receive a new Adidas backpack and additional school supplies.

• Distinctive Schools Back to School Event @ Plymouth Educational Center- 8/24/22

  Families are invited to join the PEC community for BBQ, Kona ice, bounce house, dunk tank, other games, and school supply giveaways. Also, you’ll have the opportunity to tour the school and begin enrollment for this school year @ Plymouth Educational Center!

• Ecorse Public Schools Back to School Rally- 8/25/22

  This district-wide back to school rally will take place on the campus of Ecorse High School from 5pm-7pm.

• Back to School/Health Fair-9/3/22

  This back to school event is taking place at Burning Bush International Ministries in Westland from 11am-3pm.
