Join us for a recap of the When We All Vote Couch Party 2.0 as we share with you an interview from Deputy Director of Training Reuben Washington and Training Specialist Jolynn Williams from the Dept of Elections. They work closely with the Detroit City Clerk; the Hon. Janice Winfrey and her staff as they train poll workers for the upcoming August & November Election. During their interview we discussed the significance of the November Election as well as an important event that took place at Cass Tech High School that the When We All Vote organization was directly apart of.
Tonight, we also discuss what is going with Gov. Brian Kemp and what he is doing to reopen businesses in the State of Georgia despite the push back he’s receiving from the residents and other politicians and doctors who believe he is putting the citizens of the state in grave danger. In addition, we ask the question is this COVID-19 crisis a Republican or Democratic problem? Here lately is seems that the politics of the COVID-19 crisis is taking priority over the lives of the American people and this is very concerning.
And, we also share a laugh or two from a few things we came across via social media that we wanted to share during tonight’s show. People are attempting to add some levity and laughter to this period of quarantine and it is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Plus, we have got a dynamic Thought of the Week from none other than the Bishop TD Jakes. This is definitely a show you don’t want to miss!.
